
INERIS DEVELOPPEMENT
INERIS DEVELOPPEMENT is a simplified joint-stock company whose founder and sole partner is the National Institute for Industrial Environment and Risks (INERIS).
The company was created at the end of May 2013.
The head office is based in Verneuil-en-Halatte, on the INERIS site, which enables the Institute's expertise to be associated with most of the projects carried out by INERIS DEVELOPPEMENT.

Thanks to its subsidiaries and its network activities, INERIS DEVELOPPEMENT can mobilize a network of experts from industry, research centers or universities in France and abroad.This network is useful for carrying out INERIS DEVELOPPEMENT's missions and offering services in industrial safety and environmental protection, based on in-depth knowledge and various experiences acquired in different regions of the world.

INERIS DEVELOPPEMENT AIMS IN FRANCE & ABROAD:

The acquisition by way of contribution, subscription, purchase or by any other means, of shares, units or other securities of any companies, companies, structures or groups, existing or to be created, French or foreign, exercising primarily an activity in the field of prevention and control of industrial risks and environmental protection

The performance of all services, technical or economic studies on behalf of companies or groups in which INERIS DEVELOPPEMENT has a stake or would be a member;

The performance of all services, studies, analyzes, technical assistance, either directly or in execution of contracts concluded with public or private persons, or international organizations, in the field of prevention and control of industrial risks and environmental protection, for international projects.


Olivier Salvi
Olivier is the President of INERIS Développement, leading its strategic development and international activities. With over 25 years of experience in industrial safety, risk management, and innovation, he has coordinated numerous European and international projects, fostering collaboration between research, industry, and public authorities. Olivier is recognized for his expertise in building networks and initiatives that promote safer and more sustainable industrial practices worldwide.

Xavier Lefebvre
Xavier is a recognized ATEX expert at INERIS Développement. With more than 25 years of experience in industrial safety and explosion protection, he has held leadership roles in certification bodies, industry, and consulting, including as head of the ATEX certification laboratory at INERIS. Xavier specializes in the assessment of explosion risks, ATEX/IECEx certification, and regulatory compliance for industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. He has led numerous inspections, technical audits, and international training programmes, supporting both private companies and public authorities across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Bastien Caillard
Engineer by training, Bastien is a Project Manager at INERIS Développement, where he leads international projects in the fields of industrial risk management, environmental protection, and innovation for responders. With a background in managing European and global initiatives, he has coordinated projects such as DIREKTION and ARISE, focusing on disaster risk reduction, responder technologies, and new energies. Bastien is passionate about bridging science, policy, and practice to help industries, regulators, and institutions build safer and more sustainable operations worldwide.

INERIS Développement brings together a multidisciplinary team of engineers and consultants with expertise in industrial safety, environmental protection, disaster risk management and international cooperation. Our team combines technical knowledge, project management experience and a strong understanding of regulatory and operational challenges.
For each assignment, we build the most relevant team by mobilising the appropriate expertise within INERIS Développement, across INERIS, and through our network of trusted experts and partners. This flexible approach allows us to address highly specialised technical issues as well as complex multidisciplinary projects involving industries, public authorities, international organisations and first responders.
